- Troy Black
I have been a Christian for 18 years and I am married to Robin Black. We have two kids who are married to great people and two awesome grandsons. I am founder of God's Outdoors Disciples Ministry and Backwoods Adventures. I hosted Thoughts From The Deer Stand radio program for 7 years and now host Backwoods Adventures Web-Show and Radio Program. I enjoy bow hunting and since becoming disabled in 2002 I have had to learn to bow hunt from the ground in blinds. I love Jesus Christ and have a burden for adult men who believe in God but don't know Jesus Christ and enjoy hunting and fishing. I have been raised in Kentucky most of my life. In the early 90's I served my country in the U.S. Navy. With that experience I have been able to hunt new states. My family started me out at the age of 7 behind a 410 chasing rabbits and coons. Since then trips to Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and my home state of Kentucky have produced Pope and Young size whitetails, Turkeys, Waterfowl, and many predators!!! Now that I have settled down with my wonderful wife, son and daughter, life has taught me patience and timing. We spend time in the outdoors enjoying God's great creations and learning each time the different ways that the wildlife detours a human in the field. I have taken my step in faith leading worship services, leading youth hunts and just reaching out to the everyday man and woman to help show them what a great creation our God has produced for us to enjoy.
